About the event

I will be taking small groups with a maximum of 10 adults out into some of the local foraging hotspots where we will search for seasonal delicacies and harvest some to take home. Each session will be 3hrs long with time to delight in nature and share some delicious, foraged snacks which I will provide.

Join me on this walk and learn about some of our local superfoods. Yes superfoods, because wild edibles are just packed with nutrition, full of vitamins, minerals and trace elements to nourish your body. We will look at some of our most common weeds and how to use them not just in the kitchen. We’ll try out some spring greens just coming into season and perfect for harvest, share recipes and useful tips and tricks. The talk is suitable for people with no previous experience and for people who want to progress on their journey of connecting with wild plants.
